Overview

We are seeking a Middle School Teacher - Language Arts and Social Studies to join Saudi Aramco Expatriate School.


Saudi Aramco Expatriate Schools (SAES) is a well-established American curriculum school owned and operated by Saudi Aramco that opened its doors in 1944 as a one-room schoolhouse.


As a Middle School Teacher - Language Arts and Social Studies, your primary role is to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate daily classroom instruction that ensures the success of a diverse population of learners.


Key Responsibilities

As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:


  1. Collaboratively plan and implement rigorous, meaningful, developmentally appropriate classroom instruction and interventions aligned to Saudi Aramco Expat School (SAES) curriculum.
  2. Establish and communicate clear learning objectives to students and parents.
  3. Hold students to high standards of citizenship, academic achievement, and personal growth.
  4. Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom learning environment and contribute to a positive professional school climate and culture.
  5. Assess and evaluate student learning progress using multiple assessment methods and communicate ongoing, high-quality feedback on learning progress.
  6. Monitor students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic growth and, when necessary, intervene and seek support from appropriate colleagues.
  7. Modify instruction and provide additional support as needed to optimize learning and growth of all students.
  8. Maintain accurate and confidential student records on attendance, classroom performance, and conduct.
  9. Uphold and enforce Company and School Board policies, administrative procedures, school rules and regulations.
  10. Engage actively in ongoing regional, district, school and independent professional learning and development to hone professional knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate you will have:


  1. Bachelor’s degree in Education. Advanced degree is a plus.
  2. Valid North American teaching certificate reflecting relevant subject/grade endorsement(s).
  3. Minimum of three years of experience in a Pre-K – Grade 9 school settings.
