Overview

We are seeking a Middle School Teacher - Language Arts and Social Studies to join Saudi Aramco Expatriate School.

Saudi Aramco Expatriate Schools (SAES) is a well-established American curriculum school owned and operated by Saudi Aramco that opened its doors in 1944 as a one-room schoolhouse.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate daily classroom instruction aligned with the SAES curriculum.
  2. Establish and communicate clear learning objectives to students and parents.
  3. Maintain high standards of citizenship, academic achievement, and personal growth among students.
  4. Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment and foster a positive school culture.
  5. Assess student progress using various methods and provide ongoing feedback.
  6. Monitor social, emotional, behavioral, and academic development, intervening and seeking support when necessary.
  7. Modify instruction and provide additional support to meet diverse student needs.
  8. Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
  9. Uphold school policies, procedures, and regulations.
  10. Participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education; an advanced degree is a plus.
  2. Valid North American teaching certificate with relevant subject/grade endorsement(s).
  3. At least three years of teaching experience in Pre-K to Grade 9 settings.
