Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • LME Account Management:
    Open and maintain accounts with the London Metal Exchange (LME) as per internal and external compliance standards.
  • Daily Price Fixing:
    Coordinate with the procurement team to fix metal prices and materials on a daily basis based on buyers requirements.
  • Client Coordination:
    Communicate with clients to confirm and close fixed deals, ensuring clear documentation and mutual agreement.
  • Bank & Finance Coordination:
  • Work with banks and the finance department to manage LME payments and related insurance.
  • Support the issuance and processing of Letters of Credit (LCs) when used for metal purchases.
  • Receivables Management:
    Track and follow up on client outstanding balances related to exchange transactions to ensure timely collections.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in commodity trading, metal exchange operations, or a similar financial coordination role.
  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of the London Metal Exchange (LME) and commodity pricing mechanisms
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of trade finance instruments, including Letters of Credit

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Fluency in English & Arabic

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position
  • May require occasional coordination outside standard business hours due to market timing
  • Office-based with some flexibility depending on operational needs
  • This position is for client location in Riaydh, Saudi Arabia. Client's industry is recycling
