Job description

Job Description: The Metal Fabricator will be responsible for reading blueprints,

cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components to create high-quality

products. This role requires proficiency in welding, metalworking tools,

installation at site and a strong commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal components using power tools such as

shears, saws, torches, and grinders.

Weld, braze, and solder metal parts using MIG, TIG, or stick welding

techniques.

Assemble fabricated metal parts into final products or structures according

to specifications.

Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and compliance with

specifications and installation at job-site.

Operate heavy machinery such as press brakes, grinders, and drill presses

safely and efficiently.

Perform maintenance on tools and equipment and ensure a clean and

organized work environment.

Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment

(PPE) at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in

welding or metal fabrication preferred.

Proven 5 years experience as a metal fabricator or similar role.

Proficiency in reading blueprints and using metal fabrication equipment.

Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety practices.

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding

environments.

Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
