Overview

Merchant Activation Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and managing all marketing activations for merchants in Saudi Arabia. This role ensures that merchants receive the right exposure, campaigns, and engagement to drive visibility, customer acquisition, and sales performance. Working closely with the Merchant Activation Manager, the specialist supports end-to-end activation activities, from campaign planning to on-ground execution and performance tracking.

Responsibilities
  • Execute merchant marketing activations and campaigns across Saudi Arabia in line with company strategy & activations calendar.
  • Collaborate with merchants to design and deliver tailored marketing activities that enhance visibility and sales.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, finance, operations, sales) to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
  • Support in developing activation calendars, campaign briefs, and communication plans.
  • Support onboarding activations for Merchants & Partners
  • Manage on-ground activations, events, and promotional activities with merchants.
  • Monitor, track, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Track merchants’ financial performance metrics (GMV, transaction count, conversion rate) by location
  • Ensure consistent brand presence and alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Handle day-to-day merchant requests related to marketing activations.
