Job Overview

The Merchandising Manager is responsible for leading the Merchandising Execution and driving their KPIs, comparing sales data for products they handle and making recommendations to management regarding possible solutions if sales are low. This may involve modifying displays, relocating products within the store, and managing the performance of the Merchandisers team. Additionally, the role includes managing the relationship with third-party merchandising companies, monitoring their performance, and overseeing the payment process.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitors call on specific OT outlets as per daily journey plan provided by your supervisor.
  2. Merchandise SSFL products within your OT stores at various access points, including shelf, stand, and floor display.
  3. Manage placement of POS material wherever applicable next to our SSFL displays.
  4. Ensure all access points are merchandised as per approved planograms.
  5. Rotate products using FIFO method and remove sub-standard products.
  6. Always maintain clean and fresh stock of SSFL products on the shelf.
  7. Monitor and report competitive activities.
  8. Report any deviations from agreed terms with your assigned OT customer/outlet.
  9. Participate in sampling/redemption campaigns when required.
  10. Maintain appropriate personal appearance and professional behavior in line with Frito Lay code of conduct.
  11. Develop Best in Class Merchandisers Model.
  12. Develop Merchandisers JP.
  13. Develop Merchandising Capabilities.
  14. Own Merchandisers Trackers and KPIs.
  15. Be the focal person with the Merchandisers Suppliers.
  16. Lead Regional Merchandisers SV.
  17. Ensure Execution Discipline and Quality.
  18. Track and Monitor Performance KPIs.
  19. Report and Ensure Merchandisers HC Gap Filling.
