Strategic Contribution
• Execute the annual business plan and targets and comply with the strategic agenda of Merchandising to deliver Nadec's vision and mission.
• Translate the strategy into operational business plans for Merchandising and lead the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the Company’s strategy.
Budgeting
- Participate in the preparation of the functional budget and assess financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized.
- Monitor and control the merchandising budget to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region.
Core Accountabilities
- Align and implement merchandising plans to support the sales teams achieve or exceed the annual sales objectives for the region.
- Ensure implementation of planograms and other merchandising tactics to achieve corporate in-store visibility and full space utilization as per agreed KPIs.
- Develop work plans and schedules for allocating work to merchandisers in the various cities to get optimum utilization of the available resources.
- Ensure timely recruitment of qualified merchandisers to carry out merchandising activities for in-store promotion and merchandising in line with approved manpower budgets.
- Ensure the development of an implementation plan for standard operating procedures to ensure implementations for all merchandising processes of in-store promotions and ensure merchandisers adherence to developed procedures and standards across the region by conducting periodic audits and building action plans based on observations.
- Plan and deploy merchandising materials, ensure the display and full utilization of all POSM to attract the customer's attention, trigger impulse purchases, and conduct in-store merchandising.
- Work closely with the Sales Heads to ensure a deep understanding of sales priorities and accordingly change/modify/upgrade merchandising activities to deliver the Sales Volume and value plan.
People Management Accountabilities
- Ensure that all subordinates have clear objectives. Provide constructive and accurate performance feedback sessions with formal annual performance appraisals, and individual development plans.

• Adhere with direction for the development and implementation of organizational unit’s policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement to ensure efficient and effective operation.

The Manager - Merchandising will be working in allocated regional sales offices and will travel to other Nadec Locations as per business needs.

Education and Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration.
Experience:
• 5-7 years of experience in merchandising, Sales within FMCG environment, Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
