MEP Project Engineer

• Ensure completion of projects according to budget upon schedule requirements as well as HSSE & Quality policies and guidelines.

• Monitor the vendors' and contractors' performance levels and fulfilment in coordination with the supply chain department.

• Monitor vendors and contractors during execution, review their performance, and ensure all obligations are met.

• Ensure all permits and licenses are provided in a timely manner.

• Coordinate with Finance regarding project accounting and payments.

• Manage final handover to asset operator of properties in all projects/phases.

• Monitor coordination of technical functions to ensure smooth completion of projects.

• Approve/endore/recommend (based on defined authority levels) any relevant changes in project plan/design.

• Manage Project Management Systems and Planning & Control functions, ensuring effective coordination across these functions for all delivery phases for all BACCO projects.

• Identify cost and schedule deviations, issues, and risks and define action plans to close the gaps with support from the Planning & Control Manager.

• Ensure the management of design consultants to ensure the following:

1. All drawing submittals are in line with Bacco specifications, overall asset concept/strategy, and contractual deliverables, and any deviation from standards is highlighted and addressed.
2. Ensure high-level coordination with various functions to develop schedule and budget for projects.
3. Ensure support of Investment & Development functions with the development of high-level project schedule and budget for feasibility study purposes.
4. Ensure coordination with the Planning & Control Manager to prepare high-level construction budget and project plan and review against project schedule.

Skills

• Exposure to working on mechanical engineering projects with a technical firm or company.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering codes and safety standards.
• Acquainted with popular mechanic software like AutoCAD and ProfiCAD.
• Decent knowledge of mechanical engineering codes and standards.
• Minimum graduate-level education in the field of mechanical Engineering with good academic grades.
