Job description

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) & Power Senior Manager to join our City Transport team. This role involves leading design initiatives within the Qiddiya project, aimed at creating Saudi Arabia's premier entertainment and cultural destination. Your expertise in MEP & Power design for rail projects and project management will be essential in developing sustainable transportation solutions.

As the MEP & Power Senior Manager, you will oversee the design development of the Primary Urban Axis Project, Qiddiya’s fully autonomous rail system connecting various parts of the city. You will collaborate with consultants, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the design and development of MEP and power systems for the Primary Urban Axis project.
  2. Ensure designs meet project objectives, safety standards, sustainability, and customer experience requirements.
  3. Coordinate integration across civil, MEP, depots, stations, and facilities.
  4. Manage design timelines and budgets to ensure timely and within-scope delivery.
  5. Foster collaboration among internal teams to maintain quality and consistency.
  6. Conduct regular design reviews for compliance with standards and project needs.
  7. Incorporate innovative technologies and sustainable practices into designs.
  8. Identify design risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  2. 10-15 years of experience in design management, civil engineering, or similar, with large-scale project focus.
  3. Proven experience in designing major rail projects.
  4. Strong knowledge of rail transit and design management.
  5. Proficiency in design and analysis software.
  6. Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
  8. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability.
