We are seeking a skilled MEP Engineer with 5+ years of experience to oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in swimming pool and water feature construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical and plumbing ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations in KSA and other GCC.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, review, and optimize MEP designs, layouts, and schematics for swimming pool and water features.
Perform load calculations, sizing, and equipment selection for electrical and plumbing systems in swimming pool and water features.
Ensure MEP systems comply with local codes, regulations, and project requirements.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors for smooth MEP integration.
Monitor MEP installation, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
Identify and resolve technical and site execution challenges.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks of MEP works.
Review contractor work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MEP systems before project handover.
Prepare BOQs, technical reports, and project documentation such as MACs, MIRs, IRs and Shop Drawing Coordinations.
Maintain updated records of design modifications, approvals, and site activities.
Support in preparing as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
Assist in cost estimation, material selection, and procurement of MEP equipment for swimming pool and water features.
Ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in swimming pool and water features construction projects.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of swimming pool and water feature MEP system, electrical and plumbing system.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design software.
Familiarity with MEP codes, local regulations, and industry standards.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
