Responsibilities

Job Description

• Create BIM Models (MEP & HVAC models) up to LOD 450 and perform clash detection for coordination.
• Prepare MEP Building Services Layouts. Coordinate with Engineers in preparing design drawings and details for construction.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and errors, and make necessary corrections.
• Provide spot detail/shop drawings for clarity of plans and details.
• Coordinate MEP drawing with Architectural models.
• Create Architectural and Structural 3D Models based on 2D drawings and perform clash detection.
• Coordinate with Architects (architectural model input) in preparing design drawings and details for construction.
• Create render views and walkthrough videos from the models.
• Use engineering sizing tools for pipes, ducts, cables, etc.
• Conduct site visits for measurements for as-built purposes.
• Extract BOQs and schedules for all MEP components such as pipes, cable trays, cables, ducts, valves, and duct accessories.

Qualifications

• Diploma in an engineering field (Mechanical preferred).

Additional Information

• Proficiency in modeling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D.
• Ability to use clash detection software such as Navisworks.
• Strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical fields.
• Fair knowledge of MEP & HVAC system components and uses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
