Job description

We are hiring Medical Representatives for our growing team in Saudi Arabia, Jeddah Region.

DESCRIPTION AND AIM

The role of Medical Representative is to deliver the highest quality scientific information to the largest number of HCPs, regarding Menarini's prescription drugs and if needed over-the-counter drugs, in individual or group clinics, hospitals and pharmacy settings. In doing that, the Medical Representative will represent Menarini, embodying the core values of the company, always acting at the highest standard of integrity, in adherence to the Menarini Code of Conduct and in compliance with local and international laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Learn about drugs and diseases at the highest standard and keep scientific knowledge up to date.
  2. Promote the company's products to healthcare professionals in order to educate them on the value that Menarini products bring to the patients/customers in the area.
  3. Manage a master-list of doctors (General Practitioners plus possibly a selection of Specialists) and Pharmacists to ensure the coverage of the right HCPs at the right frequency of visit (territory management). This will imply planning visits to individual HCPs, group presentations in hospital/clinics, attendance at local medical events or regional, national congresses.
  4. In case of activity in Pharmacy, tasks may include delivering scientific information to pharmacists, stock availability checking, servicing requests from pharmacists, educational events implementation, order taking where allowed, collecting general market feedback.
  5. Research competitors' medications and their respective market performances.
  6. Ensure the achievement of sales goals and targets in the assigned territory.
  7. Keep abreast of new developments in the medical field to determine the effect of such developments on the company's business strategies.
  8. Establish and develop relations with key personnel in all facilities in the assigned territory.
  9. Provide reports to supervisor regarding territory status, to include forecasts, proposals and business reviews.

Company Procedure & Follow-Up Process

  1. Comply with the data integrity policy and commitment.
  2. Monitor and analyze the processes and ensure that the necessary actions are taken for improvement.
  3. Maintain, back up and archive (or ensure that they are made) all records under her/his responsibility as determined and destroy the records under his/her responsibility as determined when the retention period expires.
  4. Fulfill and implement responsibilities mentioned in all procedures of the company.
  5. The process managed in accordance with Company Procedures; s/he is responsible for ensuring that the activities of the inputs and outputs are correct, the resources are sufficient, the process is monitored, the records are kept, the performance is measured and, when necessary, reporting on these issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level: At least Bachelor Degree with medical background

Education Faculty / Department: Pharmacy.

Work Experience: Preferably commercial experience in the assigned territory

Technical Knowledge: Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Foreign Language: Fluency in English.

Others:

  • Valid Driving License.
  • Valid professional classification and registration record.
  • Nationality: Saudi National Only.
