Required Background

A highly skilled and experienced Medical Doctor to oversee insurance transactions and manage staff welfare and wellness programs within IsDBG. The ideal candidate shall have a strong background in healthcare, medical insurance, and employee wellness, along with excellent communication, customer care, and computer skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Insurance Transactions: Manage and oversee all health insurance-related transactions, including preauthorization, claims processing, and reimbursements. Liaise with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely resolution of services for beneficiaries. Verify and validate medical documentation for insurance purposes. Provide expert medical input to resolve disputes or discrepancies in insurance claims.
  2. Staff Welfare and Wellness: Develop, implement, and monitor employee wellness programs to promote physical and mental well-being. Conduct health education sessions and workshops on topics such as stress management, nutrition, and preventive care. Provide medical consultations and support to employees as needed. Collaborate with HR to design policies that enhance staff welfare and productivity.
  3. Communication and Customer Care (Mosanada Program – HSCD Assistance after working hours, during weekends and official holidays): Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance-related inquiries from employees and external stakeholders. Ensure clear and effective communication between the organization, insurance providers, and healthcare professionals. Address employee concerns related to health insurance and wellness programs promptly and professionally.
  4. Healthcare Market Networking: Leverage existing connections in the healthcare market. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize services.
  5. Administrative and Technical Tasks: Maintain accurate records of insurance transactions and employee wellness activities. Utilize computer software and tools to manage data, generate reports, and streamline processes.
Academic and Professional Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery. Master's degree in healthcare management. 5-7 years of experience in the insurance field.
