Job description

SUMMARY Work Description

Conducts a variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tests on Medical Gas systems and sub-assemblies to ensure system functions according to HTM20 standards.
Candidate must have full competency in Medical Vacuum Plant, air plant, manifolds, alarms, and controls, including installation and repair.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.
Install Medical Gas systems.
Read test schedules, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedures and equipment to be used.
Test functional performance of systems, sub-assemblies, and parts.
Read dials or digital displays indicating system status.
Compare results with specifications and record test data.
Replace defective system components.
Specify materials and sight conditions for projects.
Service calls to customer locations for repairs as needed.
Long-distance travel may be required.
Territory covers Riyadh, Madinah, Makkah, Taif, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic PC knowledge with proficiency in Word and Excel.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer needs and management expectations.
Extended overnight travel from current residence to job sites is required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Degree in engineering fields or
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to five years of related experience in medical gas piping, plumbing, or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of medical gas industry terminology is desirable.
