Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years experience as Mechanical Technician in refinery or petrochemical plant.
• Graduate with a diploma in Industrial Trade from a recognized institution.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand instrument loop drawings and perform calibrations.

Job description

Minimum Requirements:

1. Knowledge of English language. Speak, read and write.
2. Graduate 2 years diploma Industrial Trade training certificate from recognized institution.
3. Experience certificate from process and Construction Company.
4. Minimum 06-8 year work experience as Mechanical Technician in refinery or petrochemical plant.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Understand and apply the plant safety standards and be familiar with plant potential hazards.
2. Understand and apply standard maintenance procedures when performing the job.
3. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks according to the Preventive maintenance procedure.
4. Use all workshop test equipment with care and respect.
5. Always maintain good housekeeping in the working area.
6. Able to troubleshoot and repair plant instrument problems (Pneumatics and Electronics).
7. Able to perform calibration for all plant equipment according to ISO standards.
8. Should be able to overhaul and repair of plant instruments such as Control valves, Controllers, Transmitters, etc.
9. Read and understand instrument loop drawings and P.I.Ds.
10. Able to tune field controllers, adjust P.I.D settings and tune the loop.
11. Experience in troubleshooting combustion control loops, steam boilers/furnaces.
12. Carry out testing of safety critical devices/systems according to the safety critical procedure.
13. Should have Work permit receiver as per SADARA work permit system.
14. Fully familiar with the SHE critical device requirements for defeat.
