Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Job Description

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Must have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of lab operations (sampling and testing).
2. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, servicing, adjustments, and calibration of lab equipment, especially fume hoods and centralized gas supply systems.
3. Familiarity and experience with routine sampling, operation, and testing support in oil, water, gas, and environmental sectors.
4. Knowledge and experience in the safe handling of compressed gas cylinders in laboratories.
5. Maintain and operate lab equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventive maintenance.
6. Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance.
7. Prepare daily checklists for maintenance and operation of systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field from a recognized technical institute (2–3 years).

Note: Applicants must currently reside in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama.
