We seek a Mechanical Technician with the same passion to prove industry’s potential.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules timely and in compliance with policies, customer specifications, and standards.
• Perform administration, configuration, calibration, maintenance, programming, and qualification of equipment/machinery according to SOPs.
• Repair and maintain Smelter equipment and related machinery per contractual and customer requirements.
• Use knowledge of equipment and processes to troubleshoot and resolve basic issues, applying appropriate techniques and procedures.
• Provide on-site support to ensure equipment and machinery meet standards and regulations.
• Maintain the technical integrity and performance of mechanical equipment.
• Adhere to safety requirements and ensure safety standards are followed during maintenance.
• Monitor equipment performance and plan maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Manage stock levels and coordinate replenishments to support maintenance activities.
• Record, analyze, and report data and work performed, maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in maintenance processes.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and support sales strategies.
• Maintain awareness of safety requirements and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

• Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least five (5) years of maintenance experience, especially with overhead cranes and Pot Tending Machines (PTM).
