Mechanical Supervisor

Qualification:

Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering is mandatory, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

Minimum 3-6 years in a ship repair yard, either in a heavy-duty workshop or onboard vessels.

Skillset Required:

• Sound knowledge of mechanical ship/rig repair best practices.
• Knowledge of M/E & A/E, deck machinery, valves, mooring equipment, pumps, and other mechanical and rotating components.
• Planning of work and resource allocation.
• Issuance of permits to work.
• Preparation of JSA and TRA.
• Supervisory skills, condition reports.
• Hardworking, physically fit, able to work in extreme climatic conditions and confined spaces.
• Ability to understand basic commands.
