A leading company in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and contracts for large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 8 years of specialized experience. Key responsibilities include cost estimation, procurement assistance, and collaboration with engineering and construction teams to ensure project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review detailed mechanical quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Manage contractual and commercial aspects of mechanical packages.
Monitor and control the project s mechanical costs, budgets, and variations.
Review and evaluate supplier and subcontractor claims and invoices.
Assist in procurement activities and prepare tender documentation.
Conduct site measurements and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
Liaise with engineering, planning, and construction teams to ensure alignment of scope and schedules.
Identify potential cost savings and manage risk mitigation strategies.
Prepare reports, progress claims, and financial forecasts related to mechanical works.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically in mechanical works (piping, HVAC, equipment, etc.).
Proven experience in large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of contractual procedures and standard forms (FIDIC, NEC, etc.).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in QS software and MS Office Suite.
