A leading contracting company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Mechanical QCI with valid Aramco approval. This role involves conducting inspections for mechanical works, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and maintaining meticulous documentation. Candidates must have a proven track record in quality control within the oil and gas sector and possess strong knowledge of inspection codes and practices.

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections of mechanical works including fabrication, installation, and commissioning of equipment and systems
Verify that all mechanical activities comply with project specifications, drawings, and Aramco standards
Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), procedure qualifications, and related documentation
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of mechanical components and assemblies
Monitor welding, bolting, piping, and equipment installation activities for quality compliance
Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions
Maintain accurate inspection reports, documentation, and records
Liaise with construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality standards are met
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality protocols
Requirements:
Valid Aramco approval as Mechanical QCI
Proven experience in quality control inspection for oil & gas or industrial projects
Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM)
Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques
Good understanding of welding, piping, and mechanical equipment installation processes
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Valid Iqama / Muqeem and relevant documents
