A leading engineering firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Mechanical Material Receiving QC Inspector. The role involves inspecting mechanical materials to ensure compliance with project specifications. Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming mechanical materials and equipment at receipt, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
Verify materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and technical documentation.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of received materials, including pipes, fittings, structural steel, mechanical components, etc.
Check for damages, defects, and proper labeling/marking.
Ensure materials meet quality standards and are suitable for installation.
Document inspection results and report non-conformances to procurement and QC management.
Maintain accurate records of received materials, inspection reports, and material traceability documentation.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and construction teams to facilitate smooth material flow.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Material Receiving QC Inspector in industrial or construction projects.
Knowledge of mechanical materials, standards, and specifications.
Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation.
Strong attention to detail and inspection skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Immediate availability preferred.
