Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project development, design review, and site engineering execution. The successful candidate will lead the development and technical evaluation of mechanical systems and ensure alignment with international engineering specifications, codes, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and technical review of mechanical engineering projects.
2. Review project designs submitted by GES (General Engineering Services) contractors and alliance partners for compliance with technical standards and project requirements.
3. Ensure adherence to international engineering specifications, industry codes, and applicable standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
4. Interpret and evaluate engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, specifications, and technical documentation.
5. Utilize engineering software and tools relevant to project planning, design, and execution.
6. Provide technical leadership and oversight of mechanical engineering services for development and execution phases of projects.
7. Resolve site-specific design challenges and ensure the implementation of technically sound solutions.
8. Manage and control the engineering phase of site projects within the defined scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
9. Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
10. Monitor project progress and initiate corrective actions to meet engineering deliverables and objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (master's degree preferred).
2. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, project design, and site execution.
3. Proven experience in leading engineering development for industrial or infrastructure projects.
4. Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and codes.
5. Proficient in project management methodologies and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, MS Project).
6. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.

Preferred Skills:

1. PMP certification or equivalent project management training is an advantage.
2. Experience working in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Heavy Industrial sectors.
