Qualifications

• 5 years experience with Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or 10+ years with ITI.
• Autodesk AutoCAD Certification (2D & 3D) required.
• Experience in designing mechanical systems and creating layouts.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems including piping, steel structures, and HVAC.
• Create plant layouts and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Convert CAD files to PDFs and develop CAD templates.

Job Title: Mechanical Designer - AutoCAD

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) with 5 years of experience OR ITI with 10+ years of experience.
• Autodesk AutoCAD Certification (2D & 3D) and Revit Mechanical training.

Experience & Skills:

• Designing mechanical systems such as piping, steel structures, vessels, equipment, storage tanks, utilities (water lines, HVAC), and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency in creating plant layouts, piping layouts, plan views, sectional drawings, mechanical details, piping isometrics, and equipment layouts.
• Preparing Material Take-Off (MTO) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Converting CAD files to PDFs and vice versa, working with raster files.
• 3D modeling capabilities.
• Creating CAD templates and cells for mechanical piping, equipment, and utilities.
