Industrial Complex, Riyadh



The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.



Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.



The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.



Job Purpose

To oversee and optimize the technical and mechanical design processes for products by ensuring seamless project execution, compliance with quality and organizational standards, and the successful integration of standard and non-standard solutions to drive operational excellence and innovation.




Key Accountability Areas

Product Ownership and Issue Resolution:




  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all technical details about assigned products and act as the primary point of contact for technical matters during project lifecycles.

  • Resolve technical issues during project execution, particularly those involving standard configurations, and address shopfloor challenges related to non-standard solutions to ensure smooth operations.


Bill of Materials (BoM) and SAP Management:




  • Create and evaluate Bills of Materials (BoM) and references within SAP.

  • Manage the linking of standard and non-standard BoMs for projects, including adding non-standard solutions and canceling standard ones generated by configurator tools or decision trees.

  • Develop new non-standard reference SAP codes as needed.


Fabrication Oversight and Solution Implementation:




  • Manage the release of projects to fabrication, including metal components, LV doors, and special accessories.

  • Oversee the preparation and validation of LV door cutouts in alignment with design standards.

  • Lead the design of new solutions validated by the technical antenna team, release parts and assembly drawings for newly designed solutions, and attend industrialization phases for products while collaborating with the industrialization team to implement innovative solutions.


Compliance and Validation:




  • Validate technical compliance requirements as provided by the tendering team.

  • Manage the Change of Functionality (CoF) process for new solution requirements in accordance with delegation rules.
