Job summary

Applus+ Asia Middle East and Africa is seeking a Senior Materials QA/QC Engineer to ensure on-site materials meet project specifications. You will review submittals, coordinate testing, and monitor compliance with quality requirements.

The role requires a BSc in Civil or Geotechnical/Geological Engineering, 7–10 years of infrastructure experience, and asphalt/concrete mix design expertise along with QA/QC practices.

Qualifications

• BSc Civil or Geotechnical/geological Engineering required.
• 7–10 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• Experience with asphalt and concrete mix design and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve all material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Monitor batching, production, and placement processes to ensure consistency with approved mix designs.
• Oversee material testing programs including field and laboratory testing.
• Coordinate with contractors and laboratories to resolve material-related issues.
• Evaluate and approve concrete and asphalt mix designs for project requirements and environmental conditions.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance for all materials used across the project.
