The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

To oversee demand planning, ensuring efficient production schedules, optimal inventory levels, and supply chain stability. Drive cross-functional collaboration, process improvements, and risk mitigation while maintaining compliance and preparing for operational disruptions.

Key Accountability Areas

Demand and Supply Planning:

• Manage the interface with customers ensuring their demand is fulfilled.


• Conduct capacity planning and use it to split demand between inhouse manufacturing and outsourcing, and for providing commitments to customers.


• Utilize data analysis and forecasting tools to predict demand accurately.


• Implement strategies for optimal inventory levels, minimizing shortages and excess stock.

Production Planning

• Develop production schedules and sequences to meet demand while optimizing resources.


• Assess and manage production capacity to ensure optimal workflow and resource utilization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with production,substores, outsourcing, maintenance, and quality teamsto align planning efforts.


• Maintain effective communication with outsourcing team to ensure timely and reliable deliveries.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

Data Management and Analysis:

• Leverage ERP systems for accurate data analysis, reporting, and decision-making.


• Investigate and address root causes of planning-related challenges and inefficiencies.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies in planning activities.


• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact production schedules or supply chain stability.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of planning activities and decisions.


• Provide regular reports on planning performance and key metrics.

Development:

• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance planning capabilities.

Emergency Response Planning

• Develop and maintain contingency plans to address unexpected disruptions in the supply chain.

Role Accountability

Delivery:

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.


• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.


• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

• Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Business Process Improvements:

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Safety:

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
