Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technician in automotive.
  • Must have valid KSA driving license for the role.

Job description

  • Ensuring that safety guidelines are adhered to at all times within the laboratory.
  • Planning and implementing testing with adherence to the results and observations.
  • Assuring the safety of laboratory and relevant items by understanding all the safety guidelines.
  • Scheming laboratory test procedures by assessment of observations adhering to the established protocols.

Skills

  • Working experience operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment.
  • Skilled in working independently adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Remarkable understanding of all the relevant practices and guidelines of the laboratory.
  • Proficient in handling all the functionalities of conventional and digital equipment.

Required skills to be successful:

  • Ability to operate without direct supervision.
  • A high-level of understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • An appreciation of high-voltage systems and the safety required to operate with them.
  • Very organised in approach with the skills to plan and share data on progress.
  • Strong IT skills and interested in working with mechanical and electric vehicles systems and excellent skills in supporting less experienced technicians.

About the Team:

This role will be reporting directly to workshop manager / Supervisor.

What equips you for the role:

  • Technical certification diploma, ITI, ATA, IMI or equivalent.
  • IMI EV Level 3 or 4 – Advantage / Priority.
  • Master Technician certification or industry equivalent.
  • In depth knowledge and experience of EV components and systems both high and low voltage.
  • 5-7 years’ experience as Diagnostic Technician, retail automotive experience.
  • Must have valid KSA driving license.
