The Opportunity:

CAC I is seeking a Master HVAC Technician to support our program for our mission-critical client in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role involves inspecting HVAC systems, evaluating their condition, identifying repairs, and performing preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and repacking parts.

Responsibilities:
  1. Track performance of routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex HVAC/R systems, and produce reports via CMMS.
  2. Respond to service calls, preventive inspections, and emergency situations, diagnosing issues to determine repairs or replacements.
  3. Install, repair, and maintain large HVAC systems, including ventilation, refrigeration, and cooling systems.
  4. Perform recurring work on HVAC equipment such as exhaust fans, boilers, air handlers, pumps, and motors.
  5. Design, modify, and repair HVAC equipment and systems, reviewing plans and specifications.
  6. Work with engineering/scientific personnel on plans, modifications, and user needs.
  7. Perform maintenance and repair of critical environmental and energy support systems within SCIFs, including computerized controls and air quality monitoring systems.
  8. Provide technical support for security-sensitive systems, including sound baffling and electrical current management.
  9. Produce classified technical documentation of findings and recommendations.
  10. Support emergency fault isolation of smoke removal and fire detection systems used in military installations.
  11. Maintain complex electronic environmental systems, calibrate components, and monitor environmental conditions within SCIFs.
  12. Deploy worldwide in mobile environments, providing technical assistance for 24-hour operations and rapid response to outages.
  13. Support US Army systems on-site and deploy internationally as needed for contingency missions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with three years' experience, or a high school diploma with a combination of 10 years' education and experience, and a valid Master HVAC license or equivalent military HVAC certification.
  • Experience in fault isolation and resolution of environmental systems and electronic support systems.
  • Ability to plan, install, troubleshoot, and repair systems beyond manual schematics.
  • At least 4 years' experience with HVAC control and monitoring systems.
  • Experience with CMMS.
  • Expertise in computer-controlled environmental systems in mobile secure facilities.
  • Meet US industry standards for complex environmental systems and power distribution.
  • North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification preferred.
  • Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.
