We are looking for a passionate Senior Marketing Manager, MENA who will help chart the course for growth. This individual reports to MENA Marketing Director and will possess exceptional leadership and a bias for action, they can’t be afraid to dream big or be deterred by a challenge. Position Summary:

Responsible for accelerating good growth along with the development and execution

for MENA Clorox Brand. Responsibilities include:

  • Able to express vision for a brand or segment over the long term. Identifies ideas with strong strategic value.
  • Build purpose driven brand and evolve Clorox within the cleaning & disinfection strategy.
  • Leading the development, implementation, and execution of commercial and product marketing plans to achieve brand growth objectives. This includes, but is not limited to market analysis, assessment, segmentation, targeting and demand forecasting, product development & launches, and pricing strategies
  • Leading cross-functional teams to executional excellence in category and customer-facing selling
  • Partner with Human Insights for: consumer insights, brand health tracking, syndicated data, discovery, and charters innovation.
  • Local brand P&L owner with execution management across stakeholders.
  • Accountable for total results with budget ownership for brand A&SP.

Possesses a fresh, agile style of marketing leadership defined by:

  • Showcasing and ambitious mindset seeking for disproportionate vs incremental growth.
  • Work towards improving Brand/products market share and consumer value.
  • Act with urgency to refine executional guidelines in order to achieve intended results.
  • Establishing clear priorities with associated KPIs. Embeds performance metrics into the plans. Escalates issues/adapts plans quickly in-response to changing situations (budget, commercial, competitive, etc.)
  • Promoting a bias for action where agility is king and done is better than perfect. Strong commercial awareness & performance. Accountable for the CX and the business performance across channels.
  • Responsible for all standard reports such as monthly syndicated data reports and quarterly business updated for owned brand/products.
  • In charge of marketing activities into the forecast and be a team member for the S&OP review & input.

Recommends the brand portfolio strategy with a platform mindset:

  • Established business priorities and NPD launches, ensuring this strategy is in line with profitability targets and our growth agenda
  • Works cross-functionally to identify portfolio opportunities (competitive, channel, packaging, claims, etc.). Establishes priorities.

Years and Type of Experience:

  • Min. 7+ years of experience in Brand Marketing and 3+ years within Tier 1 CPG companies.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of MENA consumer & retailer’s landscape, especially UAE & KSA (preferred )
  • A highly capable marketer, with a proven track record of good consumer understanding, marketing strategy development and brand equity management within a leading consumer goods organisation.
  • Proven success in identifying consumer insights and developing brand strategies which have delivered revenue growth and increased market share.
  • Experienced in successfully developing and motivating a high performance team.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be confident, assertive, high attention to detail, demonstrate a high degree of integrity and confidentiality where appropriate.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with all areas of the business and work constructively with a multitude of people across many cultures.
  • Strategic thinking, excellent prioritization skills, flexible in a constantly changing environment.
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude is important as well as the ability to pick things up quickly, get on well with people and multi-task different projects.
  • General business acumen, with an understanding and appreciation of operations, finance, innovation, and supply chain. Able to contribute to general business strategy development.

Education Level/Degree:

  • Marketing background / Business Administration / Industrial – Commercial Engineers
  • MBA a plus

Other Languages Required:

  • Full mastering of English & Arabic both oral and written
