Job Purpose:

Fried chicken is an increasingly competitive space in the kingdom, and while KFC has the most loved fried chicken product, it is imperative for the brand to pull itself apart from competitors- local & international. It is therefore key for KFC to establish itself as the undisputedly No.1 loved food brand in the kingdom.

We are looking for a dynamic and culturally attuned Marketing Director to lead the brand strategy and execution for KFC in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & Bahrain. This role is pivotal in ensuring the brand resonates deeply with local culture, connects powerfully with Saudi youth, and continues to strengthen its competitive position in the market.

You will own the marketing agenda in the Kingdom from insight-led strategy development to campaign execution and be responsible for strengthening brand equity, growing awareness, and driving same-store sales growth across our KSA business.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy & Local Relevance

  • Lead the development of a distinct, locally relevant brand strategy for KFC in KSA cluster
  • Translate brand positioning into compelling local activations and campaigns.
  • Build deep cultural insight into Saudi consumers, especially Gen Z and young millennials.

Youth & Cultural Connection

  • Position KFC as a brand of choice for Saudi youth by tapping into relevant cultural touchpoints, digital trends, and lifestyle aspirations.
  • Partner with content creators, influencers, and cultural figures to amplify brand relevance.

Marketing Communications & Campaigns

  • Co-conceptualize integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, digital, social, and in-restaurant channels.
  • Influence the creation of campaign development and media planning to ensure high-impact, high-reach executions.

Growth & Performance

  • Drive same-store sales growth through demand-generating brand activations, new product launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure an accelerated digitization of brand revenues through owned apps, Kiosks and aggregators, whilst ensuring a healthy channel mix between all the revenue channels.
  • Optimize marketing ROI through performance tracking, media effectiveness analysis, and agile learning.
  • Work with agencies to build and optimize media strategies and investments to deliver commercial outcomes at industry leading ROI.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Commercial, Finance) to ensure marketing plans are commercially sound and operationally executable.
  • Manage and collaborate with agency partners to deliver excellence in creative, media, and digital execution.

Key Requirements

  • 12+ years of marketing experience, ideally in QSR, FMCG, or youth-led consumer brands.
  • Proven track record in building successful campaigns, and driving commercial growth.
  • Strong cultural acumen and understanding of the Saudi consumer landscape.
  • Passion for youth culture, digital innovation, and creativity.
  • Data-driven with strong commercial acumen and performance focus.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Arabic fluency is a strong plus; English proficiency is essential.
