Position Summary
The Marketing and Business Development Manager will support various marketing and business development initiatives aimed at elevating the firm’s brand within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The role will work directly with the Senior Regional Marketing & Business Development Manager and the Director of Marketing & Client Management as an integral part of the firm’s marketing and business development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with attorneys to serve as the point of contact for daily requests and marketing and business development needs, understanding the market, office initiatives, and representations of key clients.
- Strategize with shareholders on responses to RFPs and proposals, including analyzing market research on prospect companies and sectors, in coordination with practice and office professionals.
- Draft responses, coordinate research, and prepare presentations, managing the full cycle of the RFP process.
- Maintain databases and lists of panel appointments and related government RFP portals.
- Coordinate responses to marketing surveys, directories, and nominations at local and national levels.
- Collaborate with events and practice professionals to plan, organize, and host client events, including preparing conference/webinar materials.
- Manage all aspects of events, including concept development, agenda setting, invitations, and venue coordination.
- Evaluate return on investment for each event and manage budgets closely.
- Support attorney onboarding and integration, including preparing welcome materials for new attorneys.
- Assist lateral shareholders in integration, helping prioritize internal meetings.
- Coordinate information flow from attorneys to marketing professionals.
- Work with the Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager to ensure website content, biographies, and marketing systems are current.
- Collaborate with shareholders and practice group leaders to develop and implement business plans aligned with strategic goals.
- Manage various projects and attorney requests with meticulous attention to detail.
- Handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
- Exhibit outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Maintain a client-first work ethic and remain calm under pressure.
- Interface effectively with all organizational levels.
Education & Prior Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in marketing and business development within a law firm or professional services firm, with proven experience in responding to proposals and RFPs.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
Technology
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
