Role Summary:
The Analyst, Market Intelligence supports the marketing and commercial planning teams by transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategy and improve decision-making. The role focuses on analysing market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor performance. It contributes to accurate forecasting, campaign evaluation, and strategic planning through data reporting, visualization, and business intelligence tools.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and structure market, customer, and performance data from both internal systems and external sources.
- Develop standard and customized reports for campaign performance, customer analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
- Assist in forecasting activities and analyze variances between actual and projected performance outcomes.
- Build dashboards and visualize trends using tools like Power BI or equivalent for improved planning and decision support.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and commercial teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable intelligence.
- Monitor industry developments and market changes, highlighting key insights to support proactive marketing strategies.
- Support projects involving customer segmentation, pricing strategy, and ROI measurement of marketing activities.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency in marketing analytics and reporting processes.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business administration, Data Science, or any related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales analysis or business planning.
- Good analytical mindset and ability to interpret complex data.
- Good knowledge in forecasting and sales performance metrics.
- Expellant in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
Skills:
- Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and/or other business intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with forecasting techniques and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of marketing metrics, customer behaviour modelling, or competitor analysis.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and transforming data into clear business insights.
