Job summary

Duruper is seeking an experienced QC Structural & Architecture professional with strong marine industry background, preferably rigs or ships. The role ensures inspections meet project quality requirements and applicable standards.

Responsibilities include performing QC inspections, verifying workmanship against drawings and specs, raising NCRs, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining quality records. A proven marine background with rigs/ships is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of relevant experience in Structural/Architectural QC or Inspection.
• Valid AWS-CWI or CSWIP 3.1 certification.
• Proven marine industry experience, preferably with rigs/ships.
• Strong practical knowledge of structural inspection and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Strong documentation, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC inspection activities for structural and architectural works in marine projects.
• Inspect structural fabrication, erection, installation, and related architectural works.
• Verify workmanship and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality requirements.
• Conduct inspections at relevant stages and identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, welding, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Raise and follow up on NCRs and corrective actions as required.
• Maintain inspection reports, quality records, checklists, and other project documentation.
• Ensure inspection activities comply with approved project procedures and applicable standards.
