Manufacturing Applications Specialist

Salary Range: $80-$100K/yr. with performance-based incentives
Location: Seattle, WA
Type: Remote

Join our client’s team as an Applications Specialist and impact the manufacturing industry by representing cutting tools. Engage directly with customers, distributors, and prospects to provide innovative solutions and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Assess needs, provide technical advice, and identify new business opportunities.
• Sales Presentations: Deliver impactful presentations to customers.
• Business Development: Expand accounts and cultivate new relationships.
• Product Expertise: Stay current with product updates.
• Collaboration: Partner with inside sales for quotes and lead follow-ups.
• Industry Knowledge: Attend training sessions and meetings.
• Event Representation: Represent the company at conferences and trade shows.
• Customer Account Management: Maintain and update customer information.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years in manufacturing (milling, turning, grooving).
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Sales Skills: Proven success in business development and account management.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of cutting tools.
• Design Expertise: Experience designing custom tools is a plus.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Problem Solver: Ability to quickly assess customer needs and provide solutions.

Education

• Degree in sales, marketing, or related field, but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to travel as required.
