Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Manual Tester to join our team in the banking domain. The successful candidate will have a strong background in QA testing, experience with JIRA, and knowledge of API testing. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the banking industry and be familiar with banking systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead manual testing efforts for software applications, including banking systems and APIs
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, including functional, regression, and integration testing
- Identify and report defects using JIRA, including detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and QA, to ensure testing is aligned with business requirements
- Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Provide input on testability and quality of software applications
- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on testing best practices

Desired Candidate Profile

Technical Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in manual testing, including test case development and execution
- Strong understanding of QA testing methodologies and principles
- Experience with JIRA, including defect tracking and test management
- Knowledge of API testing, including REST and SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with banking systems and processes, including core banking, payments, and transactions
- Understanding of banking security requirements, including PCI-DSS and regulatory compliance
- Experience with test automation frameworks (nice to have)

Banking Domain Requirements:

- Experience working in the banking industry, including knowledge of banking systems and processes
- Understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with banking products and services, including accounts, loans, and payments
