As the Manager - Technology Procurement at Qiddiya Investment Company, you will be instrumental in shaping the procurement strategy for an innovative entertainment and cultural destination in Saudi Arabia. Your expertise in technology procurement will directly influence the successful acquisition of essential tech products and services critical for the development and operation of the Qiddiya project. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation capabilities and a deep understanding of the technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that support the organization's technological needs for both construction and operational phases.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential technology vendors; manage the RFP process and engage in thorough supplier negotiations.
  • Ensure that procurement practices adhere to Qiddiya’s policies and standards while driving efficiency and innovation.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key suppliers, ensuring consistent quality and reliability in service delivery.
  • Oversee the performance evaluation of vendors and ensure compliance with contract terms and obligations.
  • Implement risk management strategies to address challenges and leverage opportunities within the vendor landscape.
  • Manage budgets related to technology procurement, ensuring expenditures align with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present performance reports on procurement activities, highlighting savings achieved and opportunities for further optimization.
  • Collaborate with finance and project management teams to forecast needs and allocate resources effectively.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in technology procurement, vendor management, or related fields.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Certification in procurement (CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of technology products and services, along with market insights.
  • Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, with a proven track record of successful supplier negotiations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently, ensuring timely delivery against demands.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools; experience with digital procurement platforms is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate in Arabic being advantageous.
