Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. We envision a world where all children and young people realize their full potential, a vision shared by the 193 Heads of State and Government who adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in September 2015.
We believe in the power and potential of every child, often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion, and discrimination, especially affecting girls. Our new Global Strategy aims to transform the lives of 100 million girls through an integrated program and influence approach. Our vision for 2030 is to empower girls and young women to be heard, live without fear of violence, and achieve their rights.
To support this vision, we are establishing a decentralized People & Culture team to enhance staff capacity, motivation, and retention through the right career support. The Manager - Talent Management & Development (TM&D) will lead the design and implementation of a talent management strategy that promotes a value-based leadership culture and inclusivity, focusing on high-potential employee development, succession planning, and continuous learning.
This role involves working closely with the Director - People & Culture, managing employee relations, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with our values. The manager will also focus on learning infrastructure, supporting consultancy services for learning and development, coaching, and mentoring to embed feminist leadership principles and fill skill gaps.
