Job Purpose
This role is to oversee vendor inventory initiatives, enhancing efficiency and relationships. Collaborate with Vendors, Demand Planning, Centralized Procurement, and SC&L teams to maintain optimal stock levels, meet customer demand, and improve operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage vendor performance, develop inventory strategies, and maintain relationships.
- Collaborate with suppliers to validate and manage item data, aligning it with demand and inventory needs.
- Support Inventory Management in overseeing inventory operations.
- Manage the purchase order process and ensure timely order production.
- Analyze inventory and demand data regularly to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and deliver clear reports to aid decision-making and inventory optimization.
- Foster effective communication with suppliers for efficient stock replenishment.
- Follow relevant policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions to ensure controlled and consistent work.
- Assist in preparing accurate and timely inventory, fulfillment, and performance reports to meet standards.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, considering international best practices, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, commerce, or related field.
- Knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational principles.
- At least 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or operational organizations, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in high-volume transactional environments.
- Experience with SAP S/4 Hana and SAP Cloud Analytics (preferred).
Skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including dashboard visualization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and scrutinize financial information.
- Organizational skills and a proactive personality.
