A leading company is seeking a manager to oversee audit engagements, ensuring compliance with policies and protocols. With a focus on quality and risk management, you will be instrumental in leading teams, mentoring staff, and participating in business development initiatives while effectively managing resources. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience in external audit and hold an accounting qualification.
As a manager, you'll oversee the delivery of audit engagements by defining the audit strategy in consultation with the Senior Manager / Partner and executing it in compliance with Ernst & Young's policies and protocols. You will personally execute complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams on engagements, depending on the size of the engagement. Additionally, you'll assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders. You will also participate in business development initiatives.
You'll actively establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships, ensuring that work delivered to clients is of high quality. You'll anticipate and identify risks, escalate issues as appropriate, and help create a positive learning culture. Coaching and mentoring junior team members, contributing to people initiatives including recruiting, retention, and training, and maintaining an educational program for staff development are also key responsibilities.

We seek someone with a solid understanding of current IFRS standards, experience with audit tools and data analytics, and a risk-based audit process background. Expertise in current auditing techniques and team management experience is also required.
