Job description

As the Manager - Rides & Attractions Electrical at Six Flags Qiddiya City and Aquarabia, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems and equipment associated with themed attractions and rides. This critical role ensures that all electrical operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, providing an exciting and pleasant experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Electrical Oversight: Lead the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems related to rides and attractions, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  2. Team Leadership: Manage a team of electrical technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance and ensure high-quality service.
  3. Safety Protocols: Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices related to electrical operations, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including engineering, operations, and safety teams, to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure seamless integration of electrical systems in rides and attractions.
  5. Budget Management: Assist in preparing and managing budgets for electrical maintenance and projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions are considered.
  6. Equipment Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to assess conditions, identify issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  7. Emergency Response: Lead emergency response efforts regarding electrical failures or safety incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication to upper management.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections related to electrical systems.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest advancements in electrical technology and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and ride performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in theme park maintenance, including at least 5 years in a managerial role in theme park maintenance.
  • Skills: Planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive maintenance of rides; effective utilization of manpower and resources; ability to read and interpret power & control circuits; strong knowledge of PLC, VFD, and automation systems; quick diagnosing and troubleshooting of electrical faults; excellent knowledge of electromechanical systems; familiarity with regulatory agencies and rules; excellent communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; knowledge of CMMS.
