Job Description

You will be based in one of the Middle East locations and report to the MEO Director of Finance. Your role involves providing leadership for the Finance team, overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.

Responsibilities include managing financial analyses, reports, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. You will coordinate internal and external audits, lead process improvements, and present analyses to leadership to influence decision-making.

Additional duties involve managing cash flow, optimizing liquidity, supporting economic planning, and safeguarding assets through evolving control measures. You will also mentor and develop the finance team, oversee recruitment, and lead professional development initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• University degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a reputed firm or Big 4
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS experience advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Excel; MS Access and SAP knowledge are pluses
• Leadership experience in a finance function within a professional services environment
• Minimum 1 year of management experience
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure
• Effective communicator in English, both verbally and in writing
