JASARA PMC is seeking a seasoned Manager - Media Production to lead efforts on the Entertainment City Project. Responsibilities
- Experience in producing media content specific to theme parks and LBE projects.
- Manage development and integration of experiential digital media content.
- Coach and mentor junior staff to contribute effectively to department deliverables and safety culture.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Project Executive and keep informed of ongoing activities.
- Manage tendering and contract processes by collaborating with internal teams.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to meet project goals within the schedule.
- Oversee media development from concept to site integration, ensuring conformity to project objectives and Ways of Working (WOW).
- Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to create media solutions that meet standards.
- Manage media review, approval, and sign-off processes with stakeholders such as IP, Park Operations, LDC, and Creative Consultants.
- Conduct mock-ups and workshops to mitigate show integration issues.
- Assess media consultant submissions for quality and compliance.
- Distribute media and show information to relevant stakeholders and consultants.
- Ensure effective on-site media integration activities, maintaining compliance with project objectives.
- Support other project districts with media development requests.
- Participate in key media presentations to senior management as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, TV Production, Arts, Communication, Project Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in media production and integration for theme parks or similar LBE projects.
- Expertise in audio and video content production standards and processes.
- Experience managing media pipelines like film production, VFX, CGI, animation, sound design, VO recording.
- Proficiency with project management tools.
- Experience with non-conventional media formats such as stereoscopic, projection mapping, AR, VR, MR, or game development is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of media software and tools, including Adobe Suite and Autodesk Maya; proficiency in UNREAL is advantageous.
- Experience in the Middle East/KSA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Arabic or Japanese is an advantage.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and foster flexibility.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and attention to detail skills.
- Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
