What You'll Do
As a Manager BCG Vantage in a Client Focus role within BCG's Corporate Finance & Strategy Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients via individual expertise and/or institutionalized BCG Vantage assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data and related expertise, etc.). You will contribute to proposals and cases through thought partnership in your area of expertise, deliver original analyses and insights helping drive strong impact with clients. While contributing to client cases, workshops and proposals, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.
You will support commercialization efforts for the topic/sector working, in conjunction with business leaders, providing insights & advice for proposals and client workshops. Additionally, as a Manager BCG Vantage, you will lead development of intellectual property & assets for the business and mentor and guide junior colleagues based on your topic/sector expertise.
BCG's Transactions & Integrations (T&I) business is part of Corporate Finance and Strategy Practice Area and one of BCG's largest topics and fastest growing practices. With more than 300 M&A, carve-out, and post-merger integration professionals worldwide, we help both corporate and private equity clients execute deals efficiently and, more importantly, maximize value creation. Over the past ten years, we have supported more than 7,000 transactions with a market value of more than $5 trillion.
Our practice supports businesses with end-to-end transaction excellence, including strategic decision making in mergers and acquisitions, preparing and executing divestitures and joint ventures, supporting IPOs and spinoffs, and creating winning strategies for post-merger integration. We support our clients to create value from transactions, from beginning to the end. T&I interfaces closely with industry and other functional practices and has an important mandate with respect to content development, go-to-market, team building, and marketing.
What You'll Bring
• 3+ years of consulting experience in relevant topics (i.e. Corporate Finance, M&A, Deal Advisory, Financial Modelling, Investment Analysis, Value Creation, and similar) required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred
• In lieu of consulting experience, 4+ years minimum industry experience required; 6-10+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
• Fluency in English and Arabic (preferred)
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
You're good at
• Building and creating detailed, scenario-based 3 statement business plans and financial models for corporate transactions such as acquisitions and divestitures, as well as investment cases
• Solid understanding of buy-side and sell-side M&A and investment processes, including key steps, timelines, documents etc
• Applying transactions and corporate finance expertise when contributing to product/tool development and deployment, taking different client contexts into account
• Communicating with clients and case team members, in a credible and confident way.
• Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working
• Being flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas
• Navigating complexity and ambiguity
