Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company 1 is seeking a Logistics Manager to coordinate construction logistics, including access, traffic management, haul routes and workforce movements on our project sites.

You will lead planning, contractor liaison, performance monitoring and reporting, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while enabling timely delivery across zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Logistics, Transport Planning or related field.
• Typically 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction logistics, site operations or traffic management.
• Experience coordinating contractor logistics on active construction sites.
• Knowledge of construction access, traffic management, haul routes and temporary logistics areas.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, logistics layouts and phasing plans.
• Experience conducting inspections and following corrective actions to closure.
• Understanding of construction health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Strong coordination, communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Logistics Manager coordinates and monitors construction logistics activities within an assigned project, geographical zone, asset group or contractor package. The role focuses on practical implementation of approved logistics arrangements, including construction access, traffic management, haul routes, delivery coordination, temporary logistics areas, workforce movements and contractor compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Coordination

• Support preparation and implementation of project and package-level logistics plans.
• Coordinate daily and weekly logistics activities within the assigned area.
• Maintain visibility of contractor programs, deliveries, movements and access requirements.
• Coordinate staging, loading, unloading, laydown, parking and holding-area requirements.
• Identify potential conflicts and support updates to logistics drawings, routes and phasing information.

Contractor Logistics Management

• Act as the day-to-day logistics contact for assigned contractors and work packages.
• Review contractor logistics submissions and identify gaps against district requirements.
• Monitor implementation of approved logistics and traffic-management plans.
• Coordinate mobilisation, demobilisation and changes to contractor work areas.
• Follow up actions and elevate material non-compliances to the Senior Logistics Manager.

Access, Traffic and Site Compliance

• Monitor gates, access points, haul routes, segregation and traffic-management controls.
• Coordinate access requests, planned vehicle movements, diversions and route changes.
• Report road-condition, signage, lighting, cleanliness and maintenance issues.
• Undertake site inspections, record non-compliances and track corrective actions to closure.
• Support audits, assurance reviews and incident investigations.

Risk, Readiness and Handover

• Identify daily constraints, hazards and interface risks and record them in the appropriate register.
• Coordinate immediate mitigation and elevate safety-critical or program-critical matters.
• Support contingency planning for closures, peak movements, events and operational interfaces.
• Support testing, commissioning, asset activation and the transition from construction to operation.

Reporting and Document Control

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly logistics reports.
• Maintain trackers, action registers, access schedules and route-status information.
• Develop concise presentation material, maps and dashboards for logistics meetings.
• Maintain controlled copies of current logistics plans, drawings and instructions.
• Support management reports and stakeholder briefings.

Requirements

• Saudi National preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Logistics, Transport Planning or a related discipline.
• Typically 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction logistics, site operations, infrastructure delivery or traffic management.
• Practical experience coordinating contractor logistics on active construction sites.
