To manage and enhance Saudia’s inflight entertainment experience by curating diverse content, overseeing media operations and technology, ensuring compliance, and aligning offerings with passenger preferences and industry trends.
Strategy Formation and Implementation
- Contribute to the development of annual business plans for the assigned areas of responsibility to support the achievement of financial and strategic objectives.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Far East Stations short to mid-term plans to ensure alignment with the function’s strategic priorities, and the corporate goals.
Budgeting and Financial Performance
- Contribute to the development of Customer Experience budget in alignment to the respective annual business plan.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Supervise the implementation of Far East Stations policies, systems, processes, procedures and internal controls covering the assigned areas of the division so that all relevant procedural /legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner
- Identify potential areas of improvement, to support an efficient and effective operation and contribute towards the continuous improvement of existing policies, processes and procedures by collating inputs from team, identifying and recommending improvements.
- Select and curate a wide range of inflight entertainment content, including movies, TV shows, music, and games, ensuring a diverse and engaging selection for passengers.
- Manage relationships with content providers, studios, and distributors to negotiate licensing agreements and secure high-quality media.
- Ensure all media content meets the Saudia’s quality standards and complies with legal regulations and copyright laws.
- Monitor industry trends and passenger preferences to continuously improve the inflight entertainment offerings.
- Develop and manage the inflight media budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement of content.
- Supervise and mentor a team of media coordinators and assistants, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Oversee the implementation of new media systems and technologies, ensuring timely updates and enhancements to the inflight entertainment system.
- Analyze passenger feedback and usage data to optimize media offerings and improve the overall inflight experience.
Minimum Qualification
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Media, or related field. Post-Graduate’s Degree in Marketing or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 9 years of work experience with at least four of which are in a relevant function
