Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the health and safety performance reporting framework, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting of H&S metrics.
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the company's safety goals and objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on health and safety performance for management, highlighting achievements, trends, and areas of concern.
- Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of health and safety programs, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Facilitate training and workshops to enhance understanding of health and safety performance indicators and reporting processes among staff.
- Engage with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance with health and safety laws and standards.
- Assist in the development of safety initiatives and action plans aimed at reducing incidents and promoting a safety-first workplace culture.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends in health and safety performance reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in health and safety performance management and reporting within a large organization.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful trends.
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing performance reporting frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proficient in using HSE management software and reporting tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Certifications in health and safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) are highly desirable.
