Job description

The Opportunity: EY is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our EY Ripples team, focusing on our "Working with Impact Entrepreneurs" initiatives. EY Ripples is our global corporate responsibility program that mobilizes our people, knowledge, and networks to positively impact communities and the environment. The Manager will play a pivotal role in driving and managing projects that support impact entrepreneurs, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities needed to thrive and scale their social enterprises.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage EY Ripples projects and focus areas centered on supporting impact entrepreneurs, including capacity building, mentorship, and access to resources.
  2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for impactful projects and partnerships.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to engage EY employees in volunteering and pro bono activities that support impact entrepreneurs.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the impact of projects, ensuring they meet objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
  5. Prepare and present reports on project progress, impact, and learnings to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  6. Stay informed about trends and best practices in corporate responsibility, social entrepreneurship, and impact investing.
  7. Represent EY Ripples at external events, conferences, and forums to promote our initiatives and build relationships with key partners.
  8. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
  9. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the EY Ripples team.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Social Sciences, International Development).
  2. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in project management, corporate responsibility, or a related field.
  3. Proven track record of managing and delivering successful projects, preferably in the social entrepreneurship or impact investing sectors.
  4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  6. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  7. Passion for social impact and a commitment to EY's purpose of building a better working world.
  8. Experience working in a global or multicultural environment is an advantage.
