Job Purpose: As the Enterprise Applications Manager your mission is to drive the strategic planning, execution, and management of our enterprise applications portfolio. This portfolio includes digital workplace (DW), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and customer relationship management (CRM) applications, as well as applications that augment the capabilities of these core application categories (such as digital adoption platforms) and the organization's Digital Channels (DC) (Websites & Mobile Apps).

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for enterprise applications that supports our organization's business goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, while overseeing ongoing implementation of multiple, overlapping large application initiatives.
• Develop productive relationships with business leaders across our organization to influence how applications can enable new sources of value.
• Conduct regular surveys of stakeholders satisfaction with applications, publish the results, and, where necessary, implement action plans to improve satisfaction.
• Oversee the management of our enterprise applications portfolio, ensuring it meets current and future business requirements.
• Perform ongoing buy-build-customization analyses for current and future components of the portfolio. Identify opportunities for system
• modernization, integration, automation, and rationalization.
• Implement best practices for application life cycle management, including development, deployment, maintenance, and support. Manage master data across applications.
• Oversee risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with applications and database systems.
• Develop and manage the budget for enterprise applications, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.
  
  

Education And Experience

• 8+ years of proven experience in IT, with at least four years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications. Focus on the esports or gaming industry is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent. Master's degree is preferred.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise application platforms, cloud computing and immersion technologies. Ability to use strategic planning to translate business goals into technology solutions.
• Extensive experience with ERP, CRM, DW, DC and other business-critical applications.
• Prioritization of the needs of our business and its customers. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and business value.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with other executives, stakeholders and teams across the organization, and to influence people to achieve common goals.
• Strong project management skills, including experience with agile methodologies and change management.
• Understanding of financial principles and ability to manage budgets and optimize costs.
• High ethical standards and trustworthiness. Ability to act consistently with transparency and accountability.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
