Manager, Electrical Master Plan

JOB PURPOSE:

Lead the successful delivery of SASREF's Electrical Master Plan Projects. Manage and oversee planning, design, implementation, and control of electrical projects from initiation to completion through the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with and compliance to business objectives and technical requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the Electrical Master Plan Project.
2. Develop and oversee the implementation of detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor and control project progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on schedule and within budget.
3. Manage and engage with cross-functional leaders, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
4. Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and change requests, implementing appropriate risk management strategies to ensure successful delivery of electrical master plan projects.
5. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards in work execution. Ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
6. Provide guidance and mentorship to reporting employees, fostering professional development and performance feedback. Promote a collaborative work environment and effective communication within the project team.
7. Liaise with stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure their needs are met. Participate in stakeholder meetings and presentations to discuss progress, milestones, and address concerns.
8. Maintain accurate project documentation and drawings, stored and managed according to company policies.
9. Ensure all projects adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
10. Foster a culture of best practices and continuous improvement; identify opportunities to optimize processes, enhance performance, and drive innovation.
11. Safety (Mandatory Area):

Description:

Workplace (WPS) and Process (PSM) Safety: Ensure measures to protect personal safety are always in place and actions do not jeopardize others' safety. Adhere strictly to all IOWs, Safe Operating Procedures, and Safe Work Instructions to prevent incidents. Comply with SASREF HSE Policy, the 5 Safety Principles, and 8 Life Saving Rules. Performance Indicators include no injuries or incidents caused.

1. Cybersecurity:

Description:

Maintain SASREF's cybersecurity by implementing best practices. Adhere strictly to cybersecurity requirements when dealing with assets and data. Comply always with SASREF's information security policies. Performance indicators include reporting suspicious emails, passing phishing tests, completing cybersecurity awareness courses, and avoiding violations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Masters in Electrical Engineering, Management, or related field preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven project management experience.
