Job description

Manager, Data and Analytics (Compliance)

Job Purpose

The Sales & Leasing Performance Unit (PU) within Qiddiya is responsible for developing best practice sales and leasing standards and expertise within the organization. Strategic objectives include ensuring the development of sales and leasing best practices to support the Sales & Leasing Operations team within the organization, ensuring consistency across projects, supporting the ongoing training & development of sales and leasing team members, and providing guidance and support as it relates to implementation of procedures and tools.

The Sales & Leasing PU develops and manages policies and procedures, standardized documents and templates, sales and leasing tools, and sales and leasing operations. The unit will also develop and manage an online training academy that will have sales and leasing curriculum as its core function. The unit will further develop and manage the sales and leasing customer journey to support the requirements for sales and leasing of each of the asset class development Business Units, including CRM, digital tool requirements and experience center requirements and ongoing management of the Sales and Leasing operations. The Sales & Leasing PU team will also provide current market intelligence and benchmarking as required to support the sales and leasing team.

The Data & Analytics Manager is supporting the Compliance department by developing data-driven strategies to monitor regulatory adherence, detect risks, and improve compliance processes. This role involves overseeing data governance, analytics, and reporting to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Compliance Data Strategy & Governance

  1. Develop and maintain a data governance strategy aligned with the GRC frameworks.
  2. Ensure compliance data is accurate, secure, and auditable per regulatory requirements.
  3. Establish key risk indicators (KRIs) and develop automated compliance monitoring tools.
  4. Oversee data collection from various compliance-related sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  5. Conduct advanced analytics to identify potential compliance risks and trends.
  6. Use predictive modeling and machine learning to detect fraudulent activities or policy violations.

Regulatory Reporting & Audit Support

  1. Create automated dashboards and reports for regulatory filings and internal audits.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies (if needed) and senior management.
  3. Support audit processes by providing data-driven insights and documentation.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Advisory

  1. Partner with Risk, and Legal teams to translate regulatory requirements into data strategies.
  2. Work closely with IT and Engineering teams to enhance compliance data infrastructure.
  3. Train and guide compliance professionals on data-driven decision-making.

Technology & Continuous Improvement

  1. Stay updated on industry best practices, compliance regulations, and data security trends.
  2. Implement AI-driven analytics and automation tools to enhance compliance monitoring.
  3. Continuously improve data processes to enhance efficiency and regulatory adherence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in data analytics, compliance analytics, risk management, or regulatory reporting.
  3. Experience working in regulated industries in Saudi Arabia (e.g., banking, financial services, insurance, telecommunications).
  4. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  5. Familiarity with big data platforms, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data governance tools.
  6. Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and automation for fraud detection and risk analytics.
  7. Strong understanding of Saudi compliance regulations such as SDAIA regulations.
  8. Familiarity with ISO 27001, cybersecurity frameworks, and financial crime compliance.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  11. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  12. Arabic & English speaker (Written & Spoken).
